New York Waterfalls

Olafur Eliasson stunned visitors to the Tate Mordern in 2004 when he created an artificial sun in the museum's massive Turbine Hall.
He has now turned his attention to New York, creating a set of similarly dramatic artworks around the city.

Eliasson has created four man-made waterfalls at various venues on the New York harbor for a project commissioned by the Public Art Fund.
The falls range from 90 to 120 feet in height and, we are pleased to let you know they are environmentally sound, with all electricity used offset.
