Art Of Music Exhibition in Stockholm
Art Of Music is an exhibition bringing together fifteen international artists to exhibit their visual interpretation of music. The exhibition was first shown in Los Angeles in September this year and will now be set up in Stockholm/Sweden.
“The Art of Music reflects upon the profound influence that music has on art and simultaneously art has on music and recognises their common creative approach. The leading idea of the show emphasises the fact that artists tastes in music are always strongly related to their work. Each artist has been asked to design the poster for the concert of his or her dream, including the line-up of choice and in any venue imaginable whether existing or not.”
The exhibition curated by Thomas Subreville is presented by ill-Studio and Carhartt and features artists like Josh Petherick, Museum Studio, Steven Harrington, iLL-Studio, //DIY, Alter, P.A.M., Ryan Waller, SO-ME, Sanghon Kim, La Boca, Smal & Paze, Artus de Lavilléon, French and Stefan Marx. Check out a preview of the exhibition after the jump.

GQ Designer of the Year: Thom Browne
New York’s Thom Browne will gain the distinctive honor of being crowned GQ Designer of the Year. A typical Thom Browne-branded suit is not like any other suit as it is known for having a pair of front pants which exposes the ankles, and a tightly-fitting jacket with sleeves stopping mid-wrist and doesn’t cover the backside. While his suit designs sound odd, his creations have been very popular amongst many young adults. Check out the full article on the link below to get an inside-look into Thom Browne’s mind and his design inspirations.
